Hello Team Virginia,

It is with great regret that I must inform you that we will have to cancel the 2020 VA State Championships.

Our venue has shut down the meet due to concerns regarding Covid -19 and there are no viable alternative locations.

Many teams have expressed concern and have already canceled due to Covid-19.

We care most about the health and safety of our athletes, coaches, and judges.  Please make sure you all keep up to date with health and safety precautions as prescribed by your local health board and the national CDC.

The VA State Board of Directors will meet and discuss the financial ramifications of this event and what we are to do about Regional Championships and the Level 4/Xcel State meet.

We will have a plan.

In the meantime, we are waiting on an update from the National Office, whom have had a conference call today to discuss how to proceed during this pandemic.

Please understand that we have kept everyone’s best interests in mind and that this was a very difficult decision to make.

Thank you for your patience over the week as we worked tirelessly to sort out all of the data, while still trying to bring you a championships.

We will update you in the weeks to come.

Thank you all for your time and swift feedback regarding your concerns.

We will get through this.

Please email Kevin at kevnastics@gmail.com if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you.
