Who: 

Level 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 attend the Friday, June 23 VAMG State Clinic

Level 8, 9 and 10 athletes attend the William & Mary College Recruitment camp (www.fowmmg.com/camps)

Cost: 

Level 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7

• Athlete: $125
• Coach w/ attending athlete: $75
• Coach w/ no athletes attending: $125

Level 8, 9 and 10 athletes

• Athlete: These athletes will attend the William & Mary College Recruitment camp. Cost- $325 (registration: www.fowmmg.com/camps)
• Coach w/ attending athlete: $75
• Coach w/ no athletes attending: $125
• W&M Camp Coaches: W&M coaches- Mike Powell & Bo Morris, Minnesota GymACT head coach Mike Burns, University of Oklahoma head coach Mark Williams, various W&M athletes
• Coaches will be able to observe the William & Mary Recruitment camp from balcony viewing area.

Registration for level 3,4,5,6, 7 and all coaches:

• Registration is open now and goes through June 9, 2023
• Please register on the USA Gymnastics Meet Reservation system.
• One check per gym made out to VA Men’s Gymnastics 
• Send to: Williamsburg Gymnastics, Attn: Brett Lydon, 144-A Tewning Rd., Williamsburg, VA 23188
• Please include a copy of the USAG Meet Reservation System reservation page which lists athletes and coaches attending.

Registration for level 8, 9 and 10:

• Please register on the William and Mary website. Follow instructions provided.  www.fowmmg.com/camps
• Coaches of optional athletes will need to register on the USA Gymnastics Meet Reservation system. Following the directions above in the Registration for level 3, 4, 5, 6, and all coaches. 

Tentative Schedule (subject to modification dependent upon enrollment):

Friday: compulsory lecture and information 

• 8:30-9:00 gathering (light breakfast available)
• 9:00-12:00 lecture and hands on training for coaches drills and skills

• 12:00 Lunch
• 12:45 level 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 athletes arrive
• 1:00-4:30 athlete, clinic participation
• 4:30-5:30 dinner
• 5:30-8:30  athletes, clinic participation
• 8:30 – dismiss

Saturday: judges perspective on what to be on the lookout for in compulsory and optional routine construction  and some common issues found in compulsory and optional routines. (question and answer time). Compulsory to Optional gymnastics lecture on training plans/ periodization 

• 8:30-9:00 coffee and bagels
• 9:00-10:30 Judge’s talk
• 10:30-12:00 NCAA, GymAct, NAIGC (What are they and how do they work, who are they for and what is the process for applying to the programs.)
• 12:00-1:30 lunch
• 1:30-? training plans and periodization

William and Mary college camp athletes level 8,9 and 10 

• 1:30 – level 8,9 and 10 registered athletes arrive
• 2-9:00 training

Sunday: William and Mary college camp

• 9-5:00 training
