Hello Team Virginia,

We are proud to announce our Annual Team Virginia Fall Meeting will take place via Zoom, on November 14, 2020 from 7-8pm.

We will be discussing various competitive options for the 2020-2021 competitive season.  Chairmen/women and judges have been given very limited information regarding what can and cannot be done this year, basically leaving it up to states and regions to decide how to proceed with competition.  Local State and County Covid rules must be followed at all sanctioned events.  Please refer to usagym.org for all information regarding live and virtual sanctioned competitions.

We will also be discussing assessment fees, which are being temporarily suspended in the event that no in-person competitions take place; including the State Championships.

We will have an open discussion regarding ideas for hosting/holding a State Championships.  There is a possibility we may have to host State Championships regionally (North VA, South VA, West VA) in the event that Covid metrics allow us to do so.  We will also explore qualification possibilities in the event that your gym cannot host an in-house competition, at the very least.

We will need to make a decision about what we are going to do about a State championships by January 15.

We would like to solicit help from the State in deciding how best to recognize our seniors this year.

We will discuss new USAG guidelines regarding banking and our account and what we would like to do with it.

This is just a brief overview of some of the things that will be on the table.

Please remember that you must have at least one representative from you Gym present at the State Meeting.

Additionally, USAG has created some social distancing flyers you can use in your gyms.
